It operates through Plant & Energy Business, Industrial Machinery Business, Electronics Business, Pharmaceuticals Business, and Aviation Business segments. The Plant & Energy Business segment offers machinery and equipment for energy development and production, oil and gas refining, chemicals and fertilizers, engineering, construction, and pulp and paper, as well as petroleum refinery/petrochemistry industries. It also manufactures lithium ion batteries; and produces renewable energy. The Industrial Machinery Business segment provides factory automation and flexible manufacturing systems; and various automated assembly lines for manufacturing automobiles, motorcycles, household appliances, and housing equipment, as well as plastics, rubber, steel, and food industries. Its products include resin molding/processing, metalworking/processing, various types of processing, surface treatment, automated assembly, and inspection equipment, as well as ceramic processing machines. The Electronics Business segment offers various PCB inspection machines, peripherals, electronic materials, and others for various industries, such as electronics, IT, electric machinery, precision, optical, audio, and musical instruments. The Pharmaceuticals Business segment provides equipment for various purposes comprising cultivation, inspection, drug formulation, filling, and packaging, as well as value-added products. Its products comprise tablet visual and printing inspection systems, PTP blister packaging lines, and supersonic jet pulverizers for the pharmaceutical and medical industries. The Aviation Business segment provides ground support and airport facility-related equipment for aviation and disaster prevention. Daiichi Jitsugyo Co., Ltd. was founded in 1948 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
