Immobiliare Grande Distribuzione SIIQ S.p.A. is one of the main players in Italy’s retail real estate market: it develops and manages shopping centers throughout the country and has a significant presence in Romanian retail distribution. Listed on the Star Segment of the Italian Stock Exchange, IGD was the first SIIQ (Società di Investimento Immobiliare Quotata or real estate investment trust) in Italy. IGD's real estate assets, valued at approximately 2,381.41 million euros as of December 31, 2019 include in Italy: 25 between hypermarkets and supermarkets, 27 between commercial galleries and retail parks, 1 land subject to direct development, 1 property for trading and 5 additional real estate properties. Since the acquisition of Winmarkt Magazine SA in 2008, the Group has had 14 shopping centres and an office building in 13 Romanian cities. Widespread presence in the territory, wealth solidity, processing, control and management of all phases of the life cycle of the centers, leadership in retail real estate: these, in summary, the strengths IGD.
