It is also involved in the construction of electrical facilities, and telecommunication facilities and buildings; civil engineering operations; design and manufacture of electricity supply facilities; business related to the research, survey, and analysis concerning environment preservation; and sale of natural gas to corporate customers and companies. The company was founded in 1951 and is headquartered in Sendai, Japan.
