He served as a Manager of China Ocean Shipping Agency Nantong (Penavico Nantong), Deputy General Manager of China Ocean Shipping Agency (Shanghai), Deputy General Manager of China Ocean Shipping Agency head office, Deputy General Manager of COSCO Logistics Co., Ltd., General Manager of China Ocean Shipping Tally Company and General Manager of Dalian Ocean Shipping Company. Mr. Zhu possesses extensive professional knowledge in ocean shipping and logistics management and also has rich experience in corporate operation and management. He has been a Non-Executive Director of Piraeus Port Authority SA since August 10, 2016. Mr. Zhu was graduated from Shanghai Maritime College (now known as Shanghai Maritime University) and obtained a Master’s degree. He is a senior economist.

The company’s Coatings segment produces and sells coatings products, including container, marine, and industrial heavy-duty anti-corrosion coatings. Its Marine Equipment and Spare Parts segment sells and installs equipment and spare parts for existing and new build vessels, as well as equipment of radio communications systems, satellite communications, and navigation systems for ships, offshore facilities, coastal stations and land users, marine material supply, and voyage repair. The company’s Ship Trading Agency segment offers agency services relating to shipbuilding, ship trading, and chartering for second-hand vessels and obsolete vessels; consultancy services for ship technology and trading; business negotiations for purchasing of new build; purchase and sale contract of second hand vessels; follow-ups of the construction; and delivery process of new build ships. Its Insurance Brokerage segment provides insurance and reinsurance intermediary services of marine and non-marine insurance. The company’s Marine Fuel and Other Products segment engages in the supply, trading, and brokerage services of marine fuel and related products. Its General Trading segment is involved in trading, storage, processing, and supply of asphalt; trading of various vessel spare parts and accessories; and other comprehensive trading. The company also provides nominee services. The company was formerly known as COSCO International Holdings Limited and changed its name to COSCO SHIPPING International (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. in November 2016. The company is headquartered in Central, Hong Kong. COSCO SHIPPING International (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary of COSCO SHIPPING (Hong Kong) Co., Limited.
