He left private practice in 1997 and joined Velvet Exploration Ltd. (Velvet) as a Member of its senior management team. Mr. Kimbley served for two years as a Vice-President of Aboriginal Affairs at El Paso. Since 2003, he served at Westrock Energy Ltd. (Westrock) as the President. Mr. Kimbley served as a Vice President of Aboriginal Affairs at Prairie Schooner until 2006. He served as a Director of Border Petroleum Corp since November 20, 2009 until July 29, 2013. He serves at First Nation and Metis communities. He was an officer and/or director of several public companies listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange or the TSX Venture Exchange. Mr. Kimbley is a Member of the Metis Nation of Saskatchewan and served as Secretary of the Aboriginal Sub-section of the Canadian Bar Association. He works for over 20 First Nation and Metis communities and has helped secure over 450 square miles of exploration rights and facilitate over $100 million in capital investment, on First Nation Lands.
