He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta (1992), a Master of Applied Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of British Columbia (1994) and an Executive Program certificate from the Stanford School of Business (2000).
