He is a Petroleum Geologist with extensive experience in exploration, reserves analysis and reporting and also with international exploration and production experience providing him with a unique and in-depth knowledge of the petroleum systems in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) and the Middle East-Africa regions (MEA). He was a Director, Business Development for Schlumberger Geoquest and an Expert Advisor to the World Bank, Qatar General Petroleum Co. and Petroleum Geo-Services ASA. Mr. Pitman has extensive international oil and gas energy sector experience gained through working with oil companies, private equity investors, governments, investment banks and funding agencies. He was Additional Non-Executive Director of Upland Resources Limited since September 3, 2019 to October 07, 2019. He is Director of Upland Resources Limited since October 07, 2019. He served as Geological Advisor to the Board for Manas Petroleum Corp. A permanent advisor to the World Bank, he has been retained as non-executive Director and as a senior advisor at the board level to both private and public energy and investment companies actively involved in international mergers and acquisitions (Since 1988 ).
