He started his professional career as a Consultant for McKinsey and Company, where he spent many years focusing on cost reduction and recapitalization programs and the implementation of new technologies. He serves as a Member of the Board at Compagnie de Gestion et des Prêts S.A., Saran. He served as a Member of the Supervisory Board at Berentzen-Gruppe AG until May 19, 2017. He served as a Director of Mercateo AG. He served as a Member of the Executive Board of ARQUES Industries AG until February 28, 2005. It seeks to invest in company spin-offs and medium-sized companies with unresolved succession, significant operational problems, and balance sheet problems due to high debt levels. The firm considers investments in private and public companies, which are primarily operating in industrial enterprises, Industrials & chemicals, business services, lifestyle, consumer goods, food and beverage, and telecoms, media, and technology (TMT). It seeks to invest in companies headquartered in Europe with the focus on European Developed Markets & Nordic region. The firm typically invests up to €250 million ($278.97 million) and between €5 ($5.6 million) and €80 million ($89.27 million) per deal in companies with sales between €30 million ($33.5 million) and €750 million ($838.54 million) and EBITDA margin from negative to more than 15 percent.
