Mr. Wood serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Federal Realty Trust. He is employed at CRIIMI MAE Inc. He served as the Chief Operating Officer of Federal Realty Investment Trust from 1999 to January 2003, Chief Financial Officer since May 19, 2016 until August 15, 2016 and its Senior Vice President from 1999 to 2000. He joined Federal Realty in 1998 as the Chief Financial Officer. He served as Senior Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Caesars World, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of ITT Corporation, from 1996 to 1998. He served as the Vice President and Deputy Controller at ITT Corporation, from 1990 to 1996; Vice President of Finance of the Trump Organization from 1988 to 1990. He began his career at Arthur Andersen LLP, where Mr. Wood served numerous real estate clients, including the Trump Organization and was instrumental in developing and expanding its profit improvement practice. He held various positions, including Audit Manager at Arthur Andersen LLP from 1982 to 1988. He has been a Director of Real Estate Roundtable and The since July 1, 2012. He has been a Trustee of Federal Realty Investment Trust since 2003. He served as an Independent Director of Post Properties, Inc. from May 2011 to 2016. He serves as the Chairman of the Corporate Leadership Council and the Chair of the Metro D.C. Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. He is a Member of the U.S. Capital Chapter of the Young President' Organization. Mr. Wood serves on the Board of Governors of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts. Mr. Wood served as Chairman of the Board of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts from 2011 to 2012 and Director of Quality Care Properties, Inc. since October 31, 2016. He is an Active Member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). Also, in June 2005, Mr. Wood was named a winner by professional services firm Ernst & Young LLP for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year® 2005 Awards in Greater Washington in the Real Estate category. Mr. Wood received his CPA from the state of New Jersey and received a Bachelor of Science degree from Montclair State College where he graduated with honors.
