National Marine Dredging Company executes dredging contracts and associated land reclamation works in the territorial waters of the United Arab Emirates and internationally. Its dredging activities include capital and maintenance dredging for ports and harbors, artificial island construction, beach construction, land reclamation, and intake and outfall dredging. The company is also involved in marine construction activities, which include construction of breakwaters, revetments, groyne, and related rock works; concrete armour protection; gravity quay walls construction; retaining and diaphragm walls; boat ramps and slipways; sheet and tubular steel piling works; and marinas and pontoons. In addition, it offers hydrographic, magnetometer, and geophysical survey services, as well as side scan sonar services; ground improvement and geotechnical value-added solutions from concept to execution; and project logistics, marine logistics and offshore support, and towage and barge operation services. Further, the company manufactures and supplies pre-cast concrete, and steel pipes and steel pipe fittings; and provides consultancy services in the fields of civil, architectural, drilling, and marine engineering, as well as related laboratory services. Additionally, it engages in drilling and deepening waterways, and ports and marine installation works; and provision of services for fixing water installation for marine facilities and excavation contracts. National Marine Dredging Company was founded in 1976 and is headquartered in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates.
